That's why humans evolved such big brains... so they could remember where and when each kind of food ripens in the jungle.

Our brains are hardwired to recognize and exploit annual seasonal patterns. And that leads directly to our current dilemma with the stock market. Folks see stocks going up for a couple years in a row, and they start expecting it to happen automatically every year! <g>
