Especially when they are talking about different earthquakes. Some of your references refer to the event on 1 Jan, 2005, others to that on 26 Dec 2004.

Anyway, and for what it's worth, the "alleged" earthquake on 26 Dec 2004, which some people recorded/guessed/estimated/sucked-out-of-their-thumb at 9+ on the Richter scale, was a very unusual event. This table shows that earthquakes of 9 or greater have happened only five times previously in the last 500 years.
