Internap's VMware vCloud Powered private and public cloud services ensure
security, flexibility and cost-efficiency

ATLANTA, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Internap Network Services
Corporation (INAP), a provider of intelligent IT Infrastructure services, today
announced its participation in the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) and
that its public and private cloud services have achieved VMware vCloud Powered
status. As part of the VMware partner ecosystem, Internap delivers public and
private cloud services that are VMware vCloud Powered, providing enterprise
customers with the benefits of VMware virtualization in a completely managed
cloud environment.

VMware's vCloud initiative enables a powerful, easy-to-use set of cloud computing
services that supports the largest set of existing applications, allowing
Internap to drive down management and development costs and increase the
flexibility of its cloud offerings. Customers can migrate and run virtualized
applications on Internap's cloud platforms immediately, with the same level of
security, availability and performance that is expected in an on-premise VMware
environment.

"The VMware vCloud Powered program was developed to enable our service provider
partners to differentiate themselves and help them bring their enterprise-class
cloud services to market in this competitive landscape," said Don Schleicher,
vice president, service providers, VMware. "We look forward to supporting
Internap further as it delivers on the agility and performance customers are
looking for in the cloud computing landscape."

Internap has brought two offerings to market using VMware's vCloud? Director.(TM)
