Either a Member Date Problem OR it could be the same problem I noted some time ago that the message counter was not working properly for my personal posts.

First when I changed from Classic to new format, my message count was wiped out completely and the counter started me from zero. Then I noted that the counter was not counting all the posts I had made thereby giving me a false number on my total message count.
