The rotten foundation under the Leaning Tower of Trump seems like it's beginning to crumble. Structural engineers are being brought in to see if it can be repaired. Five charities say they never received money that the Donald Trump Foundation told IRS it had donated It turns out the Donald Trump Foundation is in deeper trouble with the IRS than merely the one illegal donation it made to a public official who was investigating Trump at the time – far deeper trouble. While Trump has refused to release his own tax returns, his Foundation’s tax records are publicly available. Those tax records claim that the Trump Foundation made donations to a number of legitimate charities. But five of those charities now say they never received any such donations, meaning that Foundation appears to have lied to the IRS on tax documents – which is a felony.
