Where do they keep getting this stuff- from an article on a postponed Motorola IPO: <<So far this year, other failed bids by parent companies to spin off narrowly focused divisions -- or on the other hand, ones that are a drag on earnings -- have included CMGI's (CMGI: news, msgs) Alta Vista, Nortel Networks' (NT: news, msgs) Netgear, and Titan's (TTN: news, msgs) Cayenta. >> What is the "failed bids" by Nortel? What are these guys smoking? The amount of disinformation is so overwhelming that I am starting to believe that it is deliberate. What would be the motivation if true?
