Yore, I don't understand why the demand for fibre should decline next year given how much investing is going into telecom networks. Even if Asia has its problems, one of the industries they are not going to cut their spending in is in telecom. Besides, when you see companies such as Qwest and IXC Comm and the likes continuing to building their long haul networks, one can only expect this industry to expand. In a growing market, no one ever succeeded by waiting for demand and then building capacity. They'd lose! If demand continues to grow in much the same way it has in the past, SPTR should be in a strong position to compete more effectively with increased capacity and economies of scale
