Simply to appease your sense of fairness, I will admit that I was terribly disappointed in George Sr's unwillingness to go the last mile (presumably be cause the coalition didn't wish him too). It was a mistake of epic proportion and devoid of all common sense (unless you were a politician).

Asd then, I am still in favor of standing alone instead of backing promises and deals made by the Madelyn Halfbright's and the French, etc., to gain political favor.

When you get into a fight, expect it to hurt and cost a lot. Are we willing to suffer that? Hopefully. If not, then we can turn our backs and have a "kick me" sign on us. We'd deserve it, too.
