Intel to open "server farm" in UK LONDON, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Chip maker Intel Corp is to open a $150 million computer facility for its corporate and Internet customers in southern England, the company said on Thursday. It said the ``server farm,' the company's first outside the U.S., would start operations near Reading before the end of July. Its computers will operate services for companies without their own facilities. A spokesperson said the facility would employ 170 staff. It will be part of a global network as well as serving local UK and European customers, she said. biz.yahoo.com EP
