FundAce, You may be right that Greenspan raises rates next week, but I can list about a dozen reasons why he would be nuts to do so. I guess it will prove what a political animal he is. They must want to get a market correction/recession out of the way early in the term so that they can have everything in line to get Gore elected in 2000. What a horrible thing that would be. I'm going to stick with my prediction that he doesn't move however, there is a real consensus on Wall Street that he will do it, and I am by nature a contrarian. Dwight
