GVC, CIS, ASKey and then some are all rallying behind the
Rockwell chipset to support 56Kflex. It seems like Rockwell
is finally able to start producing chips in volume that work
properly. These manufactures probably produce more than 50%
of all the modems in the world. We're talking about factories
that make modems for Compaq, Motorola, IBM, NEC, PackardBell,
Wisecom, Apple, and more.
