Open letter to the "Current" Novell Senior Management
March, 20, 1997
This letter will appear only "once" on this BBS. However, as a "reminder" it will appear on my WWW page until futher notice.
You can find it at: monmouth.com just in case you forget.
I feel that things are now really "looking up" at Novell. I also feel that with proper guidance, Novell can regain it's rightful position in the marketplace, and in the minds of all the people that work and compete, openly, in this industry. And with that achivement, also "bring back" the value that this company has to offer to the shareholders, and more important, the employees.
However, I also feel that change, "radical change" at these levels of management is necessary in order to achieve these goals.
I'm taking this opportunity in a public forum to "ask" the (small number of) people that "currently" have the "power" at this company to really do some soul-searching, and think about allowing other people to do this job.
You "know" who you are. Heck, if I know, you certainly do.
Now, the question is "what kind of soul-searching", and what kind of action? Well, the way I see it is, the answer can only come down to one thing: "Abdicate the power".
Think about it. Think "real hard" about it.
You may not get a better chance than "right now" to cut a good deal for yourselves, because you may not have a choice later. |
