No one said that it's the perfect solution...but hell it's getting close...as a matter of fact too close for IOMG's comfort.

This is just a sign of more RW CD-ROMs to come. The fact that it will be able to read the standard CD-ROM that is used by every vendor to distribute their software has to be worth something.

It's diffcult to see how vendors would distribute software using a $19 ZIP disk!! maybe that is why it has not been accepted as a standard.
