a small point of clarification here...
right-clicking on the task scheduler icon in the systray results in two options being displayed. one is 'open' and the other is 'pause'. so right-clicking, in and of itself, is not a remedial action. nor has it ever been suggested to be one.
simply put, right-clicking provides one with many more menu options, including whatever one can achieve by regular, or left-clicking. i'll gladly stand corrected if anyone feels otherwise. when the comment was made the other day that "right-clicking didn't do it", it was almost as if the expectation was that the mere act of clicking was going to fix something. not. bottom line, the way i see it, right-clicking opens up whole new areas and functions that some users weren't even aware existed.
of course, as dennis miller likes to say, that's just my opinion, i could be wrong. <g3>
