I just read John Calamos' book, updated version (?). Provides a great fundmentals view, but didn't get deep enough into the hedged being discussed here. Also have been looking at www.convertbond.com. Bought their cheap subscription to get more information on securities. Any hedging models (Excel or standalone) for PC that could be used to incorporate call dates, conversion ratio, stock volatility, etc. to provide an optimized short sale?
