Hi Aus! Well I have ser-ious response!

We've found on the Value Thread that each person has his/her own guidelines for defining value. Some stress psr; some price to book, some business model; some insider trading; some expected future cash flows; some analysts' expectations and earnings momentum. It also seems to me, many readers there have developed a 2 or 3 minute screen which allows them to quickly assess which stocks posted fit their perceived idea of value. If a stock passes the screen, then they undertake further dd. In this way, all posted stocks can be quickly initially judged for further follow up or discussion.

My opinion is that since some numbers are so quickly obtained - psr, capitalization, pe, etc. from Yahoo or Margetguide or whatever - just posting these figures here is unnecessary -- unless they are significant to the poster in a 'ruling reason' for his/her recommendation (or to clarify that Yahoo, etc. figures might be wrong-- which they often are).
