This just keeps getting better. Amazingly enough I was following the Elwood Norris guy about 4 years ago. Back then he invented some incredible new speaker technology, won Popular Mechanic innovation awards, wowed them at CES, the whole shebang. All the big speaker manufacturers were gonna fall all over each other to buy the production rights to it, and then Carver stepped in and was going to do it. Of course Carver went through a couple of different management changeovers and it never became commercially viable. I used to have a Business Week article about it up on a posterboard here.(right next to a fuel cell company, bwahahahaaa, i'm not kidding i'm a visionary.) discover.com CMB
