dont feel bad NYC boy, I have a net worth in the high 7 figures, which is all in CASH or Govt MM. I have several business that gross 10-15 million a year. I have two credit cards which have no balances, No mortgage, and no debt. I was turned down for a credit card as well. My monthly Amex bills are usially in the 5 figures. The system is completly flawed when people with 20 credit cards can get new ones and those who do not utilize credit get turned down despite steller balance sheet's. I wanted to take advantage of a zero balance card, and do a litlle carry trade-g- These companies have a formula that doesnt take into account ones balance sheet or financial viability. What they do is look at who has the best record of paying back debt's. There was a time the CC co's would ask for bank info etc. Noww they look at a number from a disfunctional Bureau.
