Well, eBay and uBid are both auction sites. ebay carries no inventory, Ubid does. eBay always makes money on a listing and most of the time on a sale. There is no guarantee that uBid will make money unless it always takes a percentage of the final price. eBay stock is insanely overvalued right now. It remains to be seen whether uBid is overvalued. uBid has a much closer business model to that of OnSale.
