I once got a libertarian female friend to read the Fountainhead as an introduction to Rand. She got to the "seduction" part and never read another page of Ayn Rand.

I can relate to that. Rand's sex scenes were painfully embarrassing. It was hard to not let them ruin the experience of the books and her message. That simultaneous orgasm in Atlas Shrug was ridiculously contrived.
