You are right about the deflationary element of technology not being properly asessed. I'd love to hear a nobel economist or two discussing the mechanisms they percieve with the Negropnte's and Gilders of the world.

Each group could learn from the other.

When billions are spent on spectrum, and at the same time the data carrying capacity rates of the spectrum is growing by orders of magnitude, without an expressed PLAN for "filling" that spectrum capacity with data then the shareholders of companies doing the spectrum acquiring are really just playing roulette.

Without a plan there is no benchmark to assess success or failure. Without it, one is relying on the trust and hopes of personalities, and the often huge organizational structure that was established and defined to be functional in very a different era.
