Trenton, that is very intersting about Ampex's local activity in the Colorado Springs area. As I understand it, the Colorado Springs facility is used for manufacturing, and since Ampex no longer produces a vast array of television studio equipment and such, and most likely uses these facilities to build high-end storage devices in low numbers, it stands to reason why the Colorado Springs plant does not employ the numbers as it did in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. By the way, correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that most of Ampex's 530 employees are based at the Redwood City, CA, location. Maybe someone from the Redwood City area could expand on your response to James' question.
