The relaxation was from 0.015 micron (15nanometer) to 0.018 micron your numbers were 10 times bigger! This was a butting spec. Butting is one error term that adds up to a dimensional spec ( line width of the feature printed). Etec said that this top level spec was not changed. One presumes that some of the other error terms that are part of dimensional spec must be smaller to compensate. Don't forget PLAB was a beta customer for this product and subsequently bought more of them which has been announced. Ti2
