Hi Thom: What are you doing here tuting NOVL. As you know, I am also an investor in the Novell stock. I also believe something is going on in terms of merger of buyout. The twelve million shares that took the stock up 2 and 3/8 from 9 were not the action of somebody who got drunk. I am hoping we will see some kind of positive surprise tonight. In fact, when BORL was at 5, I was seeing lot of similarity between NOVL and BORL. Both companies have great products but their marketing department needs a lot of improvement to say the least. Both companies have about the same cash per share ($3). One difference though is that Novell's earnings have been positive whereas Borland's potential rebound was greater (now it is already up 50%). Anyhow, maybe we should be talking about this elsewhere, i.e. on the Novell thread. Ghassan.
