Marshall- I picked up a post that Scott did on another thread and posted it here on the LMT. The url is below. If you read it, and the follow-ups posted by Scott and Peter, I think it'll give you an idea of the lay of the wireless LAN world.

...IMO it is coming down to about three technologies somewhat targeting the same market. Bluetooth, 802.xx, and HomeRF. It's not a super clear line between them. I think one of Peter's upstream post spelled out the differences. Or was it in some hard copy magazine I read? Each has their advantages and disadvantages. HTH. -MikeM(From Florida)
