off Information Week-- OTS name, and 25% interest of SoftBank-- snip "As of June 30, Softbank owned 26.9% of E-Trade," says OTS spokesman William Fulwider. "That's above the 25% threshold under the statute for control of an institutional entity." E-Trade plans to dilute Softbank's stake to bring it below the limit, says an E-trade spokesperson.
