Temperament and behavior (personality) are the result of selective breeding controlled by humans in dogs, just as appearance is. ..personality is genetically linked in dog and cat breeds, then what is the scientific basis for denying ALL such links in humans? Cats OTOH all seem to have the temperament. Re. human temperament, I think east Asians and American Indians have more reserved or shyer temperaments and that isn't all cultural probably. Maybe Middle Easterners and Mediterraneans are more excitable than others (?). That's as far as I'd go on this.
