Members of a small-town Georgia community were shocked to see a Hillary Clinton/Tim Kaine campaign bus pulled over to the side of the road on Tuesday morning dumping all of its human waste onto the ground.
Lawrenceville O’Reilly Auto Parts store manager Mike Robins snapped a photo of the environmental disaster happening right in front of his store. He told HeatStreet:
“I’m sitting here in my store, and I look out the window, and I see this RV turn up. It says ‘Hillary and Kaine,’ has their pictures on the side. I was going to go out and take a picture when a guy got out of the bus, walked midway, pushed a lever, and right before I knew it, they were dumping all their raw sewage.
“It was just right there, side of the street, dumping. They just turned that lever and let it rip.”
Robins made a few calls and the fire department, and a hazmat team arrived soon after, sweeping the waste into bags and treating the scene as a biohazard.
“I just can’t believe they did that,” Robin continued. “Anybody. You just can’t believe anyone would do that. You see it in a comedy movie in TV, but you don’t think you’d see anyone do that in real life. … It’s not like they don’t have enough money to go to the reclaim basin, hook up and dispose of it properly. One of my customers said, ‘Well, she’s been crapping on us all these years, what are you surprised with?’”
That just about “encrapsulates” this election season, now doesn’t it?
The Democratic National Committee issued a statement to the press calling it “an honest mistake” and offered to work with local authorities regarding the incident.
With the economy in mind, Robins told HeatStreet he’s worried about the bus driver (whose name may or may not be Cousin Eddie) losing his job. He’s also not happy with his choice of candidates this year:
“In this campaign year, nothing surprises you. One’s the Kremlin, one’s the clown. I just want to get the economy right, [and instead, we have] all this mudslinging and crap like it.”
