Yes, I'm familiar with all of those arguments. I believe that Apple is going to be *worth* $50/share by the Summer; I just don't think the market will pay that much for it yet. It has taken a lot to shake the perception that Apple is dying. In fact, the only thing that really did it is proven profit. I don't agree with Van Wang, but he still represents a majority opinion of Apple out there. I don't think that people will be willing to bet that Apple is worth it's all-time high valuations until there are several consecutive quarters of profits (+ positive earnings surprises) *and* a growth plan that is clearly already working.

That's not a bad thing; in fact, for me it increases my window of opportunity to scrounge up more money to buy shares. Long-term, I'm very bullish. Short term, while I expect $32 after earnings announcement and wouldn't be shocked at $40, I think there is still enough Apple skepticism to stop the rise short of $50.

I'd love to be wrong, though.
