I have a weird thing going on with my computer. When listening to any audio source on line I get a loud "ping".......that echo's several times after the initial ping. I use earbuds because of the location of the lap top and have tried different sets of earbuds thinking it might be the original pair I was usig, but it happens no matter what brand I use. I have messed around with my audio settings, but I can't find anything there about this issue............and nothing I've done helps.

Has anyone else had this experience before? Does anyone know what it is and how I might fix it?

Off to play a few games of horseshoes, but will be back later.
