This is pretty cool--if you've ever thought you had psychic abilities, here is a way to possibly develop them (from Australia):

The other side: Patricia Arquette sees dead people in Medium. With patience, you should be able to tap into your subconscious mind while staying in complete control. And you will be amazed at the power you will have at your command.

More people than you might think are psychic. Some experts put it as high as one in 12. And you could be one of them – without really knowing it. For instance, perhaps you have a good “sixth sense” that seems to tell you things long before they have actually happened. Like the telephone ringing just when you thought it would and, more amazingly, that the person who rang was the very one you thought it would be.
Or perhaps you’ve had a premonition while driving your car that there was a real danger around the next bend – and there was. Many people who experience these kinds of things put them down to mere chance or lucky hunches. They never dream it could be their subconscious – that mystical part of the brain that never stops working and which controls everything we think and do
– guiding them all along.
Our subconscious really can control everything we do, and people who, like me, have trained ourselves to make our subconscious do exactly what we want, have discovered how to use one of the greatest powers of the human mind.

finding your gift
If you honestly feel you might be psychic (and people have told you that you do have some sort of gift) then there is nothing to stop you from developing that gift. Like everything else, with practice it becomes much easier.
And anyway, it’s nothing new. Some yogis and wise old men of the Orient have been doing it for centuries.
Long before humanity found out how to use words to communicate, they did so by a kind of thought-transference, a kind of ESP. The great shame is that as humanity developed speaking abilities, we lost the art of using our psychic powers.
So you see, it’s all there ready and waiting in the back of your mind. And one of the best ways to bring it out is to think of your brain as two separate parts: the conscious part and the subconscious part. We use the conscious part when we are awake. It controls our planning and living, and it operates through the five senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing.
When you are asleep, your fantastic subconscious mind takes over. Why fantastic? Because that’s just what it is. It knows your past, present and future. There’s plenty of proof on record that our subconscious mind can give us
the power of hypnotism, clairvoyance,
auto-suggestion and telepathy.
And our subconscious mind, unlike our conscious mind, always knows how to put together facts so that they lead to correct conclusions. Next time you
get a hunch or a premonition about something, write it down immediately in a note-pad. From now on, you’ll always need a pad close by. Before going to sleep at night, go back to any hunch you had that day and think hard about it. Concentrate on it so that it can be transmitted by your conscious mind into your subconscious mind.

touching the void
Then, first thing in the morning, re-read your thought again. After refreshing your mind with this, meditate in complete silence until your conscious mind starts making suggestions or starts to give you some plausible answers.
You must learn to relax properly. That is best done by being on your own for
a while every day. Find somewhere you can shut out the noises of the world and listen to the voice of your subconscious.
Work at it every day until you can sit in silence for at least 15 to 30 minutes, and listen to whatever ideas or thoughts your subconscious gives you. If you’re prepared to do this and listen to your inner voice, then it is the very best way to develop your psychic sixth sense.
It could help if you lie down with a coin on the centre of your forehead. Then, under closed eyelids, direct your eyes slightly upwards and try to concentrate on the coin until it becomes an effort to do so. If it becomes a great strain, rest, but don’t open your eyes.
After practising, many people feel strangely detached and almost drift into a little trance. It all takes time, but you should keep at it.
With patience and dedication, you should be able to tap into your subconscious mind while staying in complete control.
And you will be amazed at the wisdom and power you will start to have at your command.
Keep at it, and good luck.
