Going forward near/mid term, I'm personally worried more about the economy in general than what I understand about Qualcomm's IPR... you mention 9 years till expiration and a slowing deployment of 2.5/3G eating into that time frame. But 9 years is really an eternity, even with the rates of change of a post-dot-com economy.

A question you have to pose yourself, do you really think the company has shot their wad and is going to rest on their laurels from here on out?
