PMFJI, but it seems to me that the goal here is not to move the market but to work together so the little guy can make money. If my post a few weeks ago on the GVIL thread about some latent strengths of the company helped convince a few people to either buy in or double up at sub $1 levels, then that was a good service. In the same way, I get so much from these boards in both support and information that SI is invaluable to me. I'd be flying blind without these boards.

I'm not sure if these boards have much effect on big stocks like Apple or Compaq, even if you assume fifty or more lurkers per poster, but don't underestimate what these boards can do for small stocks.
