Partisan Pessimism

So, Reuters came out and shouted the following headline today:
“Study: 20 Million U.S. Workers Lack Health Insurance.”
Hmm, okay, fair enough.
On the other hand, as of last month, there were a grand total of 140,501,000 people with gainful employment in this country.
So, that headline could have been:
“Eighty-Six (86) Percent of U.S. Workforce Covered By Health Insurance.”
Yep.
Of course, if you actually believe that Reuters, or any other “mainstream media” outfit, for that matter, ever would run such a headline while {gasp} a Republican occupies the White House, much less while the GOP controls the White House, Congress, and the state houses and state legislatures too, please call me.
For I’ve got a Chappaquiddick bridge to sell you, chief.
