Buck, Did this one slip by us? Does this have anything to do with the 600 system? I haven't found a link to verify this yet, still looking. Tried a search of the newspaper with no results... "The Philadelphia Police Department is now able to transmit digital fingerprints to the Pennsylvania State Police through an Automated Fingerprint Identification System. The AFIS system-by NEC Technologies Inc.- replaces mailing fingerprints, and reduces the time spent waiting for a criminal rap sheet from six weeks to six minutes.
