Kerry, Do you think there is an argument that internet access is also a commodity good? Does AOL really add that much value over having raw access to websites? Are people (particularly, in the long run) willing to put up with the sleaze marketing that AOL allows/encourages on its members?

Telecommunications is a commodity and I think the bottom line in ISP/internet services is that any self-proclaimed "proprietary" advantage will be short-lived. Just my opinion.
