Of course, the 1.00 level is less relevant, fundamentally but the canadian dearer than the US will have a ripple effect, psychologically .. much like when the british pound established itself over $2.00 earlier this year and just stayed there, after the volatility was traded out of the chart.

There s always the other side of it. People becoming concerned about the local economies, like in the UK today. Mortgage companies are infected by the Alt A flu´ and the pound goes under... the unlikely winner is the Euro which just defies any gravity.
