Wireless Cable and Internet Provider Upgrading to ADC’s Carrier Class Architecture in Sioux City, Iowa
MINNEAPOLIS — August 22, 2000 — ADC (Nasdaq: ADCT; www.adc.com), a leading global supplier of network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, today announced that Evertek Enterprises, an Internet service provider in Sioux City, Iowa, will upgrade its current two-way Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (MMDS) system with ADC’s Axity broadband wireless access system. Evertek provides cable and wireless television, wireless Internet and local telephone services to its customers in Northwest Iowa. The Axity solution is expandable to allow Evertek to supply high-speed wireless data services to the entire Sioux City population of 82,000 as needed.
