"are even tempered and sensitive...gentle, affectionate, but not demonstrative...this loyal dog may become attached to one person....good with gentle older children, they are too slim for roughhousing!! but be aware, they will never be perfectly obedient! pleasant, calm companion and make a good watchdog....they are even good with cats! of course their natural instinct is to hunt and kill non-canine animals...." i bet your 'known' salukis had very bad owners!!!
