Java will dominate the network computing world. It is not a
matter of if, it is a matter of when. Java is well positioned
to take its place in the massively network computing paradigm
of the future. I see ActiveX as very little threat because
ultimately it will kill itself out of the market. It has
no security model, what little feeble attempt there is
at Security is useless at best. Companies and insituations
that uses ActiveX for internet app interface will be very
sorry that they did.
