<...In any case, if anyone meditates and is searching for a new mantra for 1999, please consider the following: drive the traffic onto the network drive the traffic onto the network It has a nice rhythm to it. As you are repeating your new mantra, please visualize a stream bits flowing from one end of the WinStar network to another, with a muted "cha-ching" sounding as each bit reaches its destination...>
Lol, Paul.
It was nice to see us close off the lows.
Fwiw, a couple charts to consider. We are looking good - above all significant EMAs (13d=33.2 and 30d=30.8), are trending positive, and have nicely consolidated a short term overbought. I know there are institutions who are taking a serious look, and aren't interested in chasing it up, but will likely form some good price support. clearstation.com

WCII will have some further opportunities to clarify the exciting if complex details of their WMB relationship in the near future - SSB/Grubman's conf mid Jan - and then a high yield conf a couple days later there. I can confirm that many analysts are still getting up to speed on this late breaking relationship, and the corresponding financial details. After further researching it myself today, IMO it is a strongly positive contract/relationship. For the $640MM, WCII will be provided a virtual long haul network - even if WMB needs to lease fiber to provide this - until WMB's Frank Semple (who is arguably the world's most experienced VPN builder, having built the world's first VPN for WMB their FIRST go round: wilcom.com and willtales.com and willtales.com and wilcom.com ) can build and deliver WCII's fiber network. By most standards (Grubman's reported estimates for this purportedly need significant refinement and updating), WCII got an outstanding deal for their $$$.
