Ok, I see you were not posting on SI for many months. You felt like you were continuting a conversation, and 6 or 7 month lulls are normal. While I felt that it was inappropriate, I will accept that. So, you can at least understand that part of my hostility.

Now, I hope you can follow along here.

I pointed out the inflexible religious logic in your comments and compared it to the thinking of the Taliban

Umm, I think you are referring to the discussion with Mitch, not you, about wether or not Jesus invests in the stock market.

My point was, that Jesus is God, and Creator of the Universe. With the bone of contention not being whether the universe was created or not, but that Jesus is God. I supplied material to support that. ie, not that the Bible is true, but that in the Bible, Jesus is God.

Solon's response was that Justin was an anti-Semitic. Thus is logic was useless in a discussion of the topic. Even though he was used the Old Testament to try and convince a leading Jew of the day that Jesus was God. I felt his assault was overboard, and I didn't respond to his fanatical ravings.

If you feel I had you headlocked and your hands bound, and forcing you to confess to my brand of religion, when I wasn't even talking to you, then I apologize.

As for the Taliban, you are again quoting me out of context, the tool of fools who have no rebuttal. I said Osama was the benefactor of the Taliban, they did what he bid because of his money, not his fatwahs.

Now, I believe in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Not everyone does. Some believe in the Old Testament, some believe in other books as well.

Your attempt to dump all religious people together as terrorists, is simplistic and ignoble. Much like me saying all nonbelievers are satan worshippers.

I can only discuss my beliefs. If you want to attack Islam, or Christianity via Islam, I am incapable of participating in that discussion. I am not an Islamic scholar.

But I do believe that Islam does not reward terrorists. That is the teachings of a false prophet.

And that is about it.

You want to discuss the Bible, and wether or not Jesus is God, I will be happy to discuss that with you. I find Solon's challenges on Biblical accuracy stimulating and rewarding.

If you want to discuss Islam, I can't help.
