Hi Daffodil,

Being prepared in the face of uncertainty is always the correct action.So you were correct even though nothing happened.The tensions on this thread in the last quarter of 1999 were due in large part to the personalities of the participants.The most extreme positions held by Ken "Doomers" and Cheeky "Pollyanna's" led to some very interesting posts,but in retrospect Cory Hamasaki may have pulled off one of the biggest spoofs in the history of the internet.:)
