So you're saying corporate computing needs to downgrade an NT box to Win98 so they can play Quake and watch videos? Those 16-bit drivers are great for uptime.

I've been invested in Microsoft for years, I need no sell on the stock or the products. Either you didn't follow the thread or have never had to manage a real network of machines i.e. 500+ desktops, NT servers and UNIX machines. NT is the corporate desktop OS, Win98 offers nothing but a laptop solution to large IT departments. NT5 will have the "features" you mentioned, IT will wait for that before they'd ever even consider a downgrade to a patch (Win98) and weaker, less manageable and reliable OS.
