Clement,

I usually eat at the Santa Monica/Sepulveda, Brentwood, and Santa Monica/Wilshire KKROs. As you know the restaurants are usually full. I have also eaten at Califonia Chicken Cafe, which in terms of price/quality of food is actually better than KKRO. The 1/2 chicken with two sides comes out $1 less than a comparable meal at KKRO. The salads have a better dressing and I find the soup to be better tasting. The chicken comes with skin and is juicy, but tends to contain a lot of fat. KKRO does have a much larger selection of sides, including excellent specialy salads. California Chicken Cafe has always been packed when I have gone for lunch or dinner. I think KKRO has 'healthier' food... but CCC may increase its selection to be an excellent competitor to KKRO. CCC hasn't expanded much and I know of only 2 restaurants. I expect there are more.
