...used those cycles counting trading days or calendar days yet. He used both! This is one of the problems I had with Gann. It seemed to me that his methods were more useful in hind sight. In the early 90's I wrote a piece on the Square of 52 and the DJIA. I was able to fit it to the Industrials almost perfectly, but all after the fact. I just dug that out and it got my juices running. I had a lot of this work built into several Lotus spreadsheets and was able to crank it out pretty fast. I just wasn't able to make the projections turn profits. This is what I found in conversations with a lot of people trying to use Gann's methods. Ken
