Britt, I do not think you will see ADSL commercially deployed until 97/98. (if then) Testing is being done. Amati is a speculative play to some extent. Don't invest anything you are not prepared to loose. IMO you hear more about ISDN and to a lesser extent cable modems because they have around longer. Cheers, Daniel PS: When I discussed the infrastructure being in place, I was talking about the ability to connect everything with what is currently deployed in most cases. There will be exceptions as there always are. Things like loading coils will need to be removed from some lines. Read this months Byte magazine. There is a good article which gives a fair assessment of all this.
