Why critical thinking skills are more profitable to stock trading than any specific fundamental, or technical knowledge, or skill:

This is something that I learned from a great mentor -- that's added to my philosophy that you'll always make more money by - "trading the traders"...than you will by trading the stocks.

It's a concept called - "The Secret of the Red Shirts" and it comes from Edward De Bono one of the great teachers of creative thinking ... it may be worth your while to google him and follow up on some of his work.

The next time you are at a baseball game, or outdoor sporting event some summer day...try this exercise.

Turn to whomever you are at the game with and ask them to - look around the stadium... to take a good look and then ask them to close their eyes.

When their eyes are closed, now ask them - how many red shirts they noticed ?

They'll pause...and their answer will be - "Well I didn't really notice any... I wasn't looking for (red) shirts - I was looking at the crowd."

Now, ask them to open their eyes and this time to look around the crowd and scan for red shirts.

Suddenly they'll notice more red shirts than they can count.

What occurred to produce such a quantum leap in awareness ?

....try substituting "investment, or trading opportunity" for Red Shirts and start studying creative and critical thinking skills...delve into the Reticular Activatating System (RAS) and start working on your thinking process as much as you do on your stock research and your trading profits...especially relative to risk - will soar.

...I guarantee it.
