Hey, this isn't difficult. There have been thousands of recounts in America. What happens is both candidates set back and let the proces take its course. The Bush campaign didn't do this. Instead, using the influence of the governor's office and the secretary of state, now the state legislature, the Bush campaign is trying to take the presidency without having first counted all the votes the law allows to be counted. It's that simple!

The consequence of this could be revolutionary in our nation and, if anything, will show a tremendous stain on a presidency won without benefit of a national popular vote or electoral college vote majority. Also, allowing this to happen, America would lose one of its best example images it ever had in throughout all its history: that votes count and those votes produce the leadership of our nation.

Why risk all this because Bush had a fix in to win?
