DS. from a cursory glance, revs were a whopper! see below for a recap of previous revenue growth. by my calculations, on a sequential quarter basis, gross margins decreased very slightly from 59.24% to 59.05%. net profit margin also slid: 12.4% to 11.8%. however, NTAP continues to reverse the trend of 'slowing' revenue growth (quarter-over-previous-year-quarter) and obviously hit earnings on the nose. Q4 FY99 vs. Q4 FY98 = $90.8M vs. $50.4M = +80.3% Q3 FY99 vs. Q3 FY98 = $75.6M vs. $44.0M = +71.8% Q2 FY99 vs. Q2 FY98 = $65.6M vs. $38.4M = +70.8% Q1 FY99 vs. Q1 FY98 = $57.4M vs. $33.4M = +71.9% Q4 FY98 vs. Q4 FY97 = $50.4M vs. $28.9M = +74.4% Q3 FY98 vs. Q3 FY97 = $44.0M vs. $24.8M = +77.4% Q2 FY98 vs. Q2 FY97 = $38.4M vs. $21.0M = +82.9% Q1 FY98 vs. Q1 FY97 = $33.4M vs. $18.5M = +80.5% just wait till next quarter. this one reported through apr 30 and DELL began shipping filers on may 3!
